ABOUT CAITLIN HAMMELL

Caitlin Hammell is a scenic designer and carpenter based in Kansas City, MO. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology from Avila University, on track to graduate in May 2021.

Caitlin began working in technical theatre in 2014 and quickly fell in love with scenic design and construction. After graduating high school in 2017, she was hired as a carpenter at the Shawnee Mission Theatre in the Park. In 2019, she was promoted to master carpenter. Caitlin has worked around the Kansas City area learning and refining her skills, and intends to continue doing so after she graduates.
